Burnley Hippodrome

The Palace Theatre, St. James street was built in record time by Smith Brothers of Burnley. They signed the contract for it on 18 June 1907 and it was opened on 2 December in the same year. In its time it housed vaudeville, silent pictures and talkies, live theatre and bingo, and was demolished in April 1973.
